My friend Len Penzo does an occasional 100 word or less post, so I’m stealing borrowing his idea for this one. All of your personal finance gurus will tell you that spending money on the lottery, or in this case, the Mega Millions is a waste of time. They’ll say that the odds of winning the big prize (1 in 176 million) makes a losing case for playing, but screw that! I don’t know when I’m ever going to have a chance at being a half-billionaire, but if it’ll only cost me $1, I’m playing, and you should too.
